Subscriber list – Feedburner

Along with some other folks that have websites and a subscriber list automatically managed by Feedburner , I’ve had my entire subscriber list deleted.

I’m putting this post up in hopes that somehow your name is still in the system and that you will get this post and let me know you received it.

I’d appreciate hearing from you if you are reading this.

Thanks so much.

Theresa

NOTE TO READERS Who have replied: ADDED  1:32 PM on Sunday September 23, 2012

I am so encouraged by the replies so far from those of you who have received this post. Thank you so much for letting me know!

I’ve heard from a few others via email but I haven’t heard from everyone —  so I don’t know if they received it or not, but at least you did.

If ever you do not receive an email notification about a new post — at least in two weeks —- you’ll know something is wrong.  Then please let me know.

From what I understand — many website owners who have their post notifications automated through Feedburner are having this problem. Even worse — Feedburner is prone to this — but other systems seem to have flaws as well.  Guess it is something I just have to deal with, but I don’t like it and hate to think of loosing you and not being able to reach you.
So, I have noted your email address this time so if anything does happen with Feedburner again — I can at least let you know.

Thank you for your wonderful comments letting me know you are glad to still be on the list — you are learning a lot —  you love reading the posts and look forward to them — and thanking me for sharing what I know.  Hearing that encourages me not to stop writing.

And Heather — regarding your not receiving notification of comments via email — I’ll see what I can find out. (It’s times like this I wish I knew more about computers.)  In the interim — try clicking on the word “comments” in the upper right hand corner of the page (screen).  It will show all the most recent comments and is an easy way to keep up with them — although I know email would even be easier.  I’m sorry you’ve had the problem, and I’ll try to find out more about it.

Thanks to each of you for your response and help with this problem. My warmest and best wishes to each of you.

In friendship,

Theresa

  • Got it Theresa! Though I’ve been meaning to mention that even though I click the “notify me via email” box when I comment, I don’t get notified.

  • I don’t know if this will help but when I submit a comment there is a block at the bottom to check if I want future comments sent to me. You can either click or unclick.

  • Thanks Patricia. If you could click that box when you next leave a comment and see if you get the email notification — that would be very helpful. Heather, is clicking the box — but not receiving the notification.

Thanks Oneill for letting me know you received post. Sure am glad you enjoy the site. Thanks for reading!

  • Interestingly, I have received all of these followup comments, so perhaps that problem has been resolved!

  • Hi Theresa,

Just found your blog last night when fretting about a freeze warning. Loved the info on keeping tomatoes so subscribed! I can’t wait to start getting your posts and to browse through old posts when I get a chance. We have about a 1/2 acre garden that we use to feed our family through the year and even in a drought it has done marvelously….Can’t wait for more tips to make it even better! Blessings to you and thanks so much!

  • Hi Stephanie — Welcome to TMG. Glad to have you join us.
As you know, I’m having trouble with Feedburner. They show that I have 0 subscribers (didn’t see your new subscription either) and yet as you can see many subscribers have taken the time to let me know that they received the notification of this post. So hope you will receive them as well.
Congratulations on feeding your family out of your garden. The rewards for that — as I’m sure you already know — are tremendous! (I know that a 1/2 acre garden is a big commitment.)

Pamela, Linda and Heather — thank you for letting me know you also received the notification.

Heather I wish the problem was resolved, but evidently not —-since my Feedburner stats are still showing 0.

I plan on writing a short post tonight just to see if it will go through again. All of you should have notification in tomorrow’s e-mail.

There are many subscribers who have not e-mailed or left comments — so I’m not sure if they’re receiving the notifications or not.

Thanks for your patience and help today.
I’ll write the next post — and talk to you tomorrow.

    Good Night Everyone!
