My new book (Organic Gardening – Cutting Through the Hype to the 3 Keys to Successful Gardening) and TendingMyGarden.com received a bit of welcome press in the form of a slide show article online in the publication Living the Country Life.
This nice write up was a result of Alice, a friend and long time reader out west, mentioning me to the digital editor of that publication, who then checked out TMG and interviewed me via phone. (Thank you Alice!)
Check it out here:
Gardening Made Simple
And by the way, the slideshow is 7 clicks. If you have trouble with one of the pages loading as I did, just click to the next and then go back. It should be fine.
Since the book was published, I’ve realized even more how much this information is needed. Hopefully this article will help some other gardeners find out about my book and how easy gardening really is.
I’d love your comments, so if you have a minute, please let me know what your thoughts are.
Thanks,
Theresa
You are so very welcome Theresa. You have been so helpful to me with my gardening issues, I tell anyone who will listen about your book. The digital editor of Living the Country Life (which by the way is a free publication) Jody, was kind enough to send me a link to the article. I felt she did your book justice with the photos and text content. They recently published an article on cover crops and the knowledge I had about the subject was gained from your articles on the blog. They were referencing cover crops on larger acreage and I wrote and told them about your encouraging the readers of TMG to use cover crops in their home gardens and exactly how we could do it and that my dear gardening friend is how the story started. Best wishes for a happy and successful gardening season.
Thanks for letting us know “the rest of the story,” Alice!

Congratulations, Theresa! I’m so glad the word is spreading. It was a great tease for your book!
What a nice review, Theresa. Kudos. You know that I, as you do, don’t like to make gardening too fussy and difficult. I appreciate your posts that encourage people to take it one step at a time. Sometimes that is all we can do anyway, when life gets challenging. I’m preparing materials for a class I am teaching tomorrow night for the local garden association–“The Simple Herb Garden”– and will direct folks here for more inspiration.
Great to see your book and TMG get the recognition it deserves!
A wonderful review! This book is golden. I plan to have it passed through the generations in my family. If there was one book that I’d refer ANY gardener to, it would be this one. It’s a treasure of information and it works!
Theresa, so glad for you. I went through it with no problem. I seem to smile whenever I read your writings. If others will read your book, they will learn. You have taught me a basket full. Thanks!
Agree with all the above. It’s even easy enough for kids to understand.
