Garden Pictures – May 20

The garden is growing very quickly now.  Once the cucumbers, tomatoes, squash, beans and asparagus ferns start growing – I won’t be able to see much from one row to the next.  May is my favorite month for viewing the garden because you can see the entire garden at a glance.

Upper end looking to lower corner where red knock out rose is. Radishes, tomato seedling, broccoli, onions, peas, spinach, and lettuces are readily visible.

Entrance looking to the lower end. Lettuces, strawberries, onions, potatoes on blueberry bushes are readily visible. Knock rose in upper mid part of photo is outside of the garden fence.

At garden entrance looking to back borders and poppies. Peas, seeding Russian Kale, Potatoes, last fall and winters lettuce, new lettuce, onions, and bunching onions going to seed are readily visible. Asparagus bed appears empty before ferns start growing.

Onions, volunteer potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, and new tomato seedlings just planted.

At the entrance looking toward the upper end of my garden. Wheelbarrow of straw in lower left corner. Potatoes, seeding Russian Kale, lettuces, onions, broccoli, peas are readily visible.
